Adam Corolla buys Paul Newman’s 1979 Porsche 935 for $4.8 million

Chassis number: 009 0030 was 1^st in Class and 2 ^nd Overall at Le Mans (1979), Overall Winner at Daytona (1981), and Sebring (1983). The racecar was driven by Rolf Stommelen, Paul Newman, Brian Redman, and Bobby Rahal. Television personality and avid car collector Adam Corolla, recently purchased the racecar for $4.8 million at Gooding & Company’s Pebble Beach auction.
