Stephanie Morris, a US Army specialist stationed at Bagram
Air Force Base in Afghanistan survived two rocket propelled grenade attacks that
resulted in a shattered left femur and fractured right foot. After spending
three years at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and 12 failed surgical attempts
to save her leg, the decision was made to amputate.
Leno has been a long time supporter of the troops and has
participated in previous acts of kindness. In 2014 Leno gave Purple Heart
recipient Corporal Ethan Laberge a Dodge Challenger Hellcat as a thank you for
his service.
