Keanu's New Porsche 911 Carrera 4S

One look at Keanu Reeves’ new ride and only a single word comes to mind: “Whoa.” Aside from being a Hollywood superstar whose films have grossed well over $1 billion, Keanu Reeves also has a passion for SPEED, and no, we aren’t talking about his 1994 film with Sandra Bullock and Dennis Hopper.

Keanu’s passion for speed stems from his love of driving fast cars, and with an estimated net worth of over $350 million, he can afford to satisfy those desires any way he pleases. Contrary to other celebrity car enthusiasts who fill garages with exotic cars from around the world, there’s only a single vehicle that captures the imagination of the Matrix star. While Reeves may have been “The One” in the Wachowskis’ science fiction action trilogy, the Porsche 911 is the only one for “The One.”

As his career began to take off, Reeves settled on the idea of a black Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, complete with sunroof and a manual transmission. Reeves truly loved the car and could be spotted riding up the winding roads of the Pacific Coast Highway. He completed the Porsche Driving Experience and even won the 2009 Celebrity Race at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. Sadly, while on location filming a movie, tragedy struck and his beloved Porsche 911 affectionately named “The Sled” was stolen.

After coming to terms with his loss, the resilient actor decided it was time to buy another car, and alas, his heart still belonged to the Porsche 911 and its sleek curves. His latest ride isn’t just any 911, however, as the Hollywood star worked directly with Porsche’s Customer Consultation Center to customize his latest car to his liking. Keanu’s new Porsche 911 Carrera 4S comes with black anodized interior trim panels and a 12 o’clock center marker on his steering wheel. These aesthetics were important to Keanu as the actor claims the Porsche 911 “always looks beautiful and performs just as brilliantly.”

SPEEDVEGAS is the award-winning 100-acre motorsports complex.
