The first step taken towards enhancing the Ferrari 488 GTB was to give the latest production car from Maranello a complete body kit. The emphasis was on weight reduction and drag co-efficiency that was accomplished by the use of larger body components and plenty of carbon fiber. The VOS-9X package includes a lower bumper with two vertical struts that are perfectly matched to a carbon fiber front splitter that is much larger than the original piece. The rear of the vehicle has also received plenty of carbon fiber in the form of an oversized rear wing that demands attention. These exterior upgrades are intended to both increase the performance of the vehicle and increase the amount of stares. The final touches to take place on the outside of the vehicle include a set of 21-inch forged alloy wheels from LOMA that are mated to a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires 225/35 in the front and 325/25 in the rear.
Power and performance are the main focus of the “VOS-9X” with VOS Performance releasing three different power packages for the Ferrari 488 GTB. This allows a consumer to choose just how mild or wild they want to be. All three performance packages include a modified air induction system, an ECU remap, and a new exhaust setup with the option of downpipes or a sports catalyst. Stage 1 increases the power output of the Ferrari 488 GTB to 750 hp and 810 lb-ft of torque; this is perfect for those that are looking for a more power but still value their lives. The second package bridges the gap between insanity and the real world by delivering 830 hp and 860 lb-ft of torque. Stage 3 is for those that are totally nuts and have a blatant disregard for speed limits with a power output of 900 horsepower and an astonishing 910 lb-ft of torque.
