The Ferrari F430 Scuderia is a faster, lighter, and even
more compelling version of the famed Ferrari F430. The main purpose for
developing the F430 Scuderia was to provide Ferrari with a way to showcase
their racing technology in a street legal configuration. Weight reduction is
achieved by throwing out everything that is not essential. This helps to provide
the F430 Scuderia with a very raw appearance that lets anyone who gets inside
understand that they are in very a very wild experience. Underneath the hood of
the F430 Scuderia is a thunderous 4.3-liter V-8 engine that produces 483 hp.
The extra power and noise that comes from the F430 Scuderia is due to a revised
intake manifold, upgraded exhaust, and a slightly higher compression ratio. The
F1 inspired automated manual transmission has been improved thanks to revised
software that reduces shifts by 90 milliseconds over the standard F430.
