The 2016 Detroit Auto Show is in the books and what a crazy ride. Over the course of a record-setting couple of weeks, tons of new, exciting vehicles were showcased to the world for the first time. With so much to see at the show, it can be hard to sort through. That’s why we've compiled the best that the 2016 Detroit Auto Show had to offer.

EXOTIC CARS

Porsche 911 Turbo/Turbo S Coupe: Somehow, Porsche keeps managing to find ways to improve what many experts have already called the “perfectly engineered car.” The new 911 Turbo goes from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds and tops at a blindingly fast 205 mph.

Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Cabriolet: This beautiful Benz is far more than just a sight to behold. With a 6.0L V12 engine, the S65 AMG Cabriolet outputs a ridiculous 630 horsepower, enough force to make you want to see a chiropractor. Thankfully, it’s also got heated massaging seats inside so you should be alright.

BMW M2: Perhaps more than any other car in the showcase, the BMW M2 has a lot of pressure riding on its tires. The BMW M series is renowned worldwide for its quality, sporty drive standards, and the latest entry is looking to match that performance with a much cheaper price tag. Only time will tell if this can hang with the likes of the legendary M3, but at this point, we’re just pumped to see it hit the ground and take off.

Lexus LC 500: One of the surprises of the show, the new Lexus LC 500 is a breathtaking a supercar. This grand tourer is set to do battle with the BMW 650i and the Porsche 911 sometime next year. With 467 horsepower packed into its V8 engine, this is one luxurious Lexus we can’t wait to see on the track.

Acura Precision Concept: Acura is beginning to make waves in the world of supercars as of late. With the return of the beloved NSX, and now, the unveiling of its latest concept car, the Acura Precision. While we aren’t likely to see this car hit production anytime soon, the Precision’s curves and edges are a promising sight for fans.

VLF Automotive Force 1 V10: One of the highlights of this year’s showcase, the latest car from Aston Martin’s former lead designer, Henrik Fisker is a stylish sports car that looks fit for James Bond himself. Despite the legal controversy between Fisker and his former employer about the car’s design being a little too similar to the DB10, the VLF is a fast machine that could find a home for itself in the US market. Oh, and it also has a champagne rack between the driver and passenger seat. If that doesn’t say 007, we don’t know what does.
