Since being released to the public more than six years ago, the Lamborghini Aventador remains one of the most popular Raging Bulls to ever be produced. The Lamborghini Aventador S gives the ultra-popular supercar a performance boost to 730 HP with a 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph. The newest member of the Aventador family maintains its angular body styling and sequential manual gearbox while receiving several stability and aerodynamic enhancements.

One of the most notable differences with the Lamborghini Aventador S is the more aggressive front splitter and nose assembly that have been designed to improve aerodynamics by directing air flow to the front wheels. This more aggressive design improves the overall look of the vehicle while providing additional air flow to the engine and radiators. The rear wing of the Aventador S has three positions that provide a huge improvement in downforce over the standard Aventador that ranges between 50 and 300 percent, depending on the position that has been selected. 730-HP Lamborghini Aventador S Revealed

Increased horsepower wouldn’t be the same without improved handling, the four-wheel-steering system first seen on the Lamborghini Centenario has been brought in to handle this task. The system works by angling the rear wheels in the opposite direction of the front wheels to tighten the turning radius required for low-speed maneuvers. At higher speeds, the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front wheels to increase stability. Adding the 4WS to the Aventador S required a remapping of the electronics systems to include the stability control system that allows for a faster and more accurate response.
