“Seventy exclusive liveries, each created just the once for
every car in the current range, blend the past with the future to create the
icons of tomorrow. The inspiration comes from extraordinary models such as the
375 MM Pinin Farina Berlinetta that Roberto Rossellini ordered for Ingrid
Bergman. This car was so unique and elegant as to give its name to the colour
the Director picked for its exterior, “Grigio Ingrid””, as stated on Ferrari’s
website explaining the 70th-anniversary models. Below are two models
that will be featured in the 70th-anniversary lineup.

The Quintessential
Gentleman Driver’s Ferrari – Inspired by the 195 S Touring Berlinetta circa
1950. The 195 S Touring Berlinetta is a racing sports car introduced in
1950 at the Giro di Sicilia. It was driven by Giannino Marzotto, who was famous
for taking the wheel in his signature double-breasted suit.

The Heartthrob –
Inspired by the 500 Mondial Pinin Farina Spider circa 1954. The royal blue
500 Mondial Pinin Farina spider was one of only 14 open-top models of the series
that was bodied by Pinin Farina. This example was owned by the Dominican
Playboy Porfirio Rubirosa who drove the car at Santa Barbara in September 1954.
This would mark the only time that Rubirosa would drive the 500 Mondial Pinin
Farina Spider in competition.
