Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016, the GTC4Lusso is powered by a beefy front-mid mounted 6.3-liter V-12 engine capable of cranking out 680 hp at 8000 rpm. Power is delivered through a seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission that thrusts the GTC4Lusso from a standing position to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds with a top speed of 214 mph. Near-seven hundred hp and a top speed north of 200 mph makes the GTC4Lusso the most powerful car in its segment. This is a notable distinction considering the quality of the competition. The GTC4Lusso uses an improved version (dubbed 4RM Evo) of Ferrari’s patented four-wheel drive system that was originally introduced on the FF, integrated with four-wheel steering that has been appropriately named 4RM-S. This newly integrated system was developed around the fourth generation of the Side Slip Control (SSC4) that now encompasses the E-Diff electronic differential and SCM-E suspension damping system. The 4RM system provides complete management of torque vectoring that allows for delivery of torque to the front axle faster than what was possible with the FF.
The GTC4Lusso is Ferrari’s latest expansion of the shooting brake coupe concept that is essentially a sportwagon with racing DNA. The GTC4Lusso differs from the FF by providing a more streamlined, tapered shape that establishes a fastback profile that helps to improve aerodynamics and the overall appearance of the vehicle. Unlike other attempts by exotic manufactures to create a four-seater, the GTC4Lusso delivers in spades with a back-seat that is roomy enough to accommodate long tips comfortably.

The dual cockpit design features a driver cockpit and a passenger cockpit that are separated by a central divider that is home to a wide array of comfort controls that are common to both the driver and the passenger. The passenger cockpit has been specifically designed to ensure that all controls are within reach creating a more functional and most comfortable experience. A revised ultra-intuitive infotainment system features a 10.25” full HD capacitive touchscreen. Keeping consistent with the dual experience, all features for the infotainment center are easily accessible by both front occupants. A split screen feature can be activated to allow different types of content to be viewed simultaneously.
