Those of you that are interested in turning your late model Mustang GT 500 into a tire-shredding Shelby Super Snake will need to dig deep into your pockets to find $54,999 in spare change. While this may seem like an excessive amount of money for a performance package, it is important to keep in mind just how much bang you will be getting for your buck. The Shelby Super Snake package includes a power boost of over 750 hp and includes Whipple 750+ or Kenne Bell 750+ superchargers, an upgraded cooling package, differential cooling, transmission cooling, Shelby Wilwood four-piston rear brakes, plus a rather aggressive body package that includes a racing inspired front splitter and one-piece Super Snake 20” wheels from Weld Racing.
First Right Hand Drive Shelby Super Snake Delivered
The Mustang has now become a global brand with the delivery of the first right hand drive Super Snake to the land down under. This particular Super Snake is an upgrade package that can be applied to the 2007 – 2014 Shelby GT500 models or the 2015 – 2016 Mustang GT, the later represents that example that is being featured in this review. This performance package was put together by Mustang Motorsport Official in Australia and helps to illustrate the growing demand for American high-performance tuned vehicles. Shelby America recently took to social media to help spread the word about the Super Snake being available in right hand drive. “Are you as excited as we are that the Ford Mustang is now available in RHD for our friends around the world? 750+HP still looks and sounds beautiful even when the steering wheel is on the wrong side.”
